Juneau is awesome

This is Pastor Cindy from Idaho in Juneau, it is awesome here! God is good.

What did I enjoy most about yesterday? The warm welcome at Aldersgate UMC, our wait for dinner and the quick consumption of our Vietnamese rolls and sandwiches, the amazing Mendenhall glacier and scaling the rock face (boot and all) with Cindy, and settling into our "dorm room" in the sancutary. - Kathleen Weber

Awesome scenery and even more awesome people. We are the Body! - Stan Norman

Hi! This is Pastor Phil from Pateros. We are having a great time seeing God's glory through His beautiful world of wilderness and with the community of the wonderful people I'm around. It's great to see that God is still at work in His church through folks who are committed to the kingdom. He is most gracious and compassionate.

Hello from Juneau. This is Cheryl from Cashmere. We arrived safely and without incident and were met by the folks from Aldersgate UMC. The highlight of the day was going out to the Mendenhall Glacier, and seeing bears in the forest. The park dept. here has created a boardwalk in the forest allowing people to see the bears in relative safety. A porcupine was in one of the trees enjoying his evening meal. Bonus! Here with great folks in a super "natural" setting. Blessings to all.

Bruce checking in . . . what a great group. It is so exciting to be in this place with a group fully aware of God's grace in our midst. . . now time to take some more pictures.

As in so many ways life is good. We see it in our group, in the mountains and the glacier and all around. Thank yu God. Jim from Tacoma.

It's Kathy saying Hi - We are in a heavenly place. Wish you were here. We will bring back stories to share. Sleeping on the floor of a church is fun again! Adios

Michael on the stage. God is Good. Having fun in Juneau. Having a chance to exprience nature from a different prospective, reflecting on nature, listening to it and especially responding to it in relation to our ministry. Soifua until next time.
